11. What problems should be paid attention to after replacing the load cell?

After replacing the load cell, it is necessary to ensure the correct installation of the sensor, and it must be noted during the installation process that incorrect installation will directly lead to damage or even scrap of the sensor.

Secondly, wiring is carried out according to the correct wiring color code;

The third is to check whether the transducer's force transfer mechanism (accessories, connectors, and pressure heads) is installed correctly;

The fourth is to find the instrument or software manual, to re-calibrate it;

The fifth is to verify whether the offset load (Angle difference) is up to standard.

If it is not up to standard, adjust it, adjust it again after calibration, calibration of zero and range should be calibrated.

12. Why does the load cell have four wires and six wires?

The outlet line of the load cell is generally divided into four wire system and six wire system. The following will introduce some sensor wiring methods for you.

EXC+ and EXC- are used to power the load cell, but due to line losses between the weighing module and the load cell, the actual voltage received by the load cell is less than the supply voltage.

Each load cell has a mV/V characteristic, and its output mV signal is closely related to the received voltage, SENS+ and SENS- are actually a high impedance loop within the load cell, which can feed back the actual voltage received by the load cell to the load cell.

Assuming EXC+ and EXC- are 10V, line loss, and sensor 2mV/V, the maximum signal output of the sensor is actually () *2=19mV, not 20mV. At this time, 19mV will be used as the maximum range inside the load cell, provided that the sensor must feed the actual voltage back to the load cell through the feedback loop.

Short-circuited EXC+ with SENS+ and EXC- with SENS- in the weighing sensor is limited to the occasions where the distance between the sensor and the weighing module is relatively close and the voltage loss is very small, otherwise there will be measurement errors.
