1. Planar Beam Load Cell Working Principle

An external force causes a slight deformation in the elastic beam, altering the resistance of the 

strain gauges attached to it. The bridge output generates a millivolt signal proportional to the 

weight, enabling the weighing process.

2. Applications

GPB200R drops straight into any low-profile scale—infant, adult, platform, personal, baggage 

or postal—giving designers a slim-line, ready-fit load cell that frees up vertical space without 

extra engineering.
